USC's equipment truck, loaded with all the gear needed for this weekend's game, will make the 381-mile trek up the 5 freeway today after practice, with a scheduled arrival in Berkeley set for a little after midnight tonight.
Assistant equipment managers Tre Limbrick and Seth Svendsen are flying up tonight at 5 p.m. before the team leaves Friday, and they'll begin stadium and hotel preparations first thing Friday morning.
