Getting closer to the day

Thursday is colloquially known as the "day before the day before" around Heritage Hall.

That is, it's the day prior to the day prior to game day. Coaches like to shorten it the "the day befo' the day befo'," but either way you say it, the statement exudes excitement for the Trojans.

"Boys, how about this?" a grinning Coach Carroll said at the end of this morning's staff meeting. "It's Thursday!"
