MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- After two weeks of waiting and 36 hours of preparation in northern Indiana, the Notre Dame game is finally here.
The Trojans are departing their Michigan City hotel and embarking on an hour-long, police-escorted journey to South Bend's Notre Dame Stadium, where they're scheduled to arrive at 1:50 p.m. Eastern. The game will kick off at 3:42 p.m. Eastern (12:42 p.m. Pacific) and will be televised nationally on NBC (along with being broadcast on several other platforms).
Immediately following the game, the team will depart on a charter flight out of South Bend Regional Airport, with a 10:45 p.m. (Pacific) estimated arrival at LAX. We'll return with a full report from the game upon touchdown in L.A. late tonight, but in the meantime, we'll be posting occasional updates at http://twitter.com/USCRipsIt.
