And so begins the true reward of the bye week.
The players have entered into a full weekend off, a rarity during the fall, while the coaches are hitting the recruiting trail today and Saturday to visit prospects around the area, state and nation. Players don't report back until workouts on Monday morning, and coaches will return to the office Sunday afternoon to fully dive into preparations for next weekend's Notre Dame game.
With the Trojan football machine essentially dormant during the next few days, we're taking the weekend off and will return to normal blogging activity on Monday.
