Paul McDonald Wins Best Radio Analyst Award From SCSBA

Paul McDonald, USC's 1979 All-American quarterback who has spent the past nine years as the color commentator on the Trojans' football radio broadcasts, was named the area's 2006 Best Radio Analyst by the Southern California Sports Broadcasters Association at the group's annual awards luncheon on Feb. 5.
It was the third consecutive year that McDonald was so honored and thr fourth time overall (he also won in 2002). He can be heard on Trojan games on ESPN Radio 710.
Also, USC fullback Brandon Hancock received the SCSBA's Tom Harmon Memorial Scholarship Award. He'll receive a $2,000 grant for post-graduate studies. Hancock has a team-high 3.91 grade point average while working on his master's degree in communication management.
