Mario Danelo Funeral/Donation Information

In lieu of flowers, the Danelo family has asked that donations be made as follows:
Checks should be made out to the "USC Athletic Department in care of the Mario Danelo Endowed Football Scholarship Fund," and sent to Don Winston, USC Athletic Department, 3501 Watt Way, Los Angeles, CA 90089-0602.
The donations will go towards endowing a football scholarship that will be awarded to a USC football player who initially walked onto the team and then earned an athletic scholarship.
There is a viewing on Thursday (Jan. 11) from 5 to 8 p.m. at McNerney's Mortuary at 570 W. 5th St., San Pedro, CA 90731
The funeral for Mario Danelo will be held on Friday (Jan. 12) at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The address is 870 West 8th St., San Pedro, 90731.
A burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park at 27501 So. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, 90275
A reception - about an hour after the end of the funeral - will then follow at the Doubletree hotel at 2800 Via Cabrillo Marina, San Pedro, 90731.
