- Tonight's attendance was 91,800. USC's last 12 home games have been in front of 90,000-plus crowds. With tonight's attendance, USC drew 548,880 fans at home this season, breaking the Pac-10 record for home total attendance set by USC last season (544,872). The 91,480 average per game at the Coliseum this season also broke the Pac-10 season average attendance mark set by USC last season (90,812).
- QB John David Booty's three TD passes to Dwayne Jarrett continued his streak of at least one TD pass in each of his 11 games. He has thrown two or more TD passes eight times and has thrown three TD passes five times ... Booty passed for more than 200 yards for the ninth time this year, fifth time in a row.
- Booty's 2nd quarter 1-yard TD rush was his first career rushing TD at USC. His two interceptions were a season-high.
- WR Dwayne Jarrett's three TD receptions extends his Pac-10 record, giving him 39. He has caught a pass in all 36 games in which he's played and he has at least one TD catch in 24 of those games. His three TD catches tied a career high, now done four times (last time: Oct. 22, 2005 at Washington).
- With his seven catches, Jarrett ties Johnnie Morton for third on USC's career pass catching list with 201.
- With his three catches, Smith moved into fifth on USC's career reception chart with 177.
- USC TB Chauncey Washington's 3rd quarter 2-yard TD run was his ninth of the season.
- USC PK Mario Danelo, who entered the game making 12-of-13 field goals, made his only attempt tonight (34 yards with 11:43 to go to give USC a 31-17 lead).
- Freshman TB C.J. Gable made his third start of the season (Arkansas and California). He led USC in rushing for the second straight game. He finished with career-highs in yards (107) and carries (20). It was his first career 100-yard game.
- USC scored 20 or more points for the 63rd consecutive game, extending its NCAA record.
- With Notre Dame's 1st quarter FG, USC has now allowed only 21 points in the first quarter this year.

- ND QB Brady Quinn's 2nd quarter 60-yard rush was the longest allowed by USC since allowing an 82-yard TD run to Stanford's J.R. Lemon on Sept. 25, 2004. It was Notre Dame's longest this season.
- Quinn's 42-yard 3rd-quarter pass to Rhema McKnight tied the longest against USC this year.

- ND LB Steve Quinn's 2nd quarter blocked punt was Notre Dame's first since 2005 and the first allowed by USC in 2006.
- McKnight's 3rd quarter TD catch was his 15th of the season, tying a Notre Dame season record.
- USC senior WR Chris McFoy returned to action for the first time since getting injured in the fourth game of the year at Washington St. He had two catches and both went for first downs.

- Brian Cushing's kickoff return for a touchdown on the onside kick was his first career touchdown and USC's first kick or punt return for a touchdown this season.
