The USC women's cross country team kicked off their season today (Sept. 3) at the Cal State Fullerton Jammin Invitational at Craig Park in Fullerton, Calif. with just three squad members competing. The Trojans did not enter enough runners to qualify in the team competition.
Leading the way for the Trojans was junior Christina Eads, who ran a time of 20.13 on the thick-grassed course.
Senior Amber Oleson was the next Trojan to finish, posting a 24.11 time. Senior Heather Mostofizadeh, a first-year runner at USC, competed unattached and finished with a time of 25:15.
The Trojans will run in their first full-squad competition on Sept. 10 at the UC Irvine Invitational in Irvine, Calif.
