The two-time defending national champion USC football team has completed its 2005 schedule by adding a home game against Fresno State on Nov. 19 in the Coliseum.
It will be just the second meeting between the California schools. The Bulldogs upset Troy, 24-7, in the 1992 Freedom Bowl.
The Trojans went 13-0 last season to win their second consecutive national championship, while the Bulldogs posted a 9-3 mark and were ranked No. 22 in the final 2004 polls.
The Bulldogs return 18 starters from that 2004 squad, including quarterback Paul Pinegar, who was named MVP of the 2004 MPC Computers Bowl, and a pair of All-Western Athletic Conference first teamers in strong safety James Sanders and defensive tackle Garrett McIntyre.
USC features 14 returning starters, including 2004 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Matt Leinart, "Thunder and Lightning" tailbacks LenDale White and Reggie Bush, wide receivers Dwayne Jarrett and Steve Smith, safety Darnell Bing, linebacker Dallas Sartz and All-American punter Tom Malone.
