With the USC win:
- USC extends its overall win streak to 33, longest in the country and a school and Pac-10 record. USC has now won 26 consecutive home games (continuing a school record), 16 straight non-conference games, eight non-conference home games and 15 games against teams ranked in the AP top 25.
- The 33-game win streak is eighth longest in Division I history.
- USC has won 44 of its last 45, 45 of its last 47, 47 of 50 and 51 of 55.
- USC evens the series vs. Fresno State at 1-1.

- Bush's 513 all-purpose yards are a school and Pac-10 record. He broke Anthony Davis' 1972 school record of 368 set against Notre Dame. The Pac-10 record he broke belonged to UCLA's Maurice Drew (384 vs. Washington in 2004).
- Bush's 294 rushing yards are a career high, the second most ever at USC and the most for a Trojan runner since Ricky Bell set the school record with 347 yards vs. Washington State on Oct. 9, 1976.
- Bush's 65-yard first-quarter run was his fourth play this season of at least 65 yards.
- Bush gained more than 100 yards for the seventh time this season, 10th for his career.
- Bush's 3 TD runs give him 40 TDs in 37 games (23 rushing, 13 receiving, 1 on a kickoff and 3 on punt returns)
- White's first- and fourth-quarter rushing TDs give him 47 in 37 career games and 51 overall, closing in on Charles White's USC career rushing TD record (49) and overall TD record (53).
- Either White or Reggie has now scored a TD in 35 straight USC games.

- Leinart has now thrown at least one TD pass in 32 of 36 starts.
- Leinart now has 95 TD passes in his career (extending his Pac-10 record), tying North Carolina State's Philip Rivers (2000- 03) and Texas Tech's Kliff Klingsbury (1999-2002) for sixth.
- His third-quarter 1-yard TD rush was his sixth rushing TD this season.
- USC improves to 36-1 when Matt Leinart starts.
NOTES
- By virtue of Oregon's victory over Oregon State today, USC has clinched the Pac-10's automatic BCS berth. Prior to tonight, USC has already, at worst, earned a share of the Pac-10 title, its fourth consecutive league crown.
- Tonight was USC's third home sellout of 2005 and its eighth season sellout (both marks tie last year's school records) and the eight sellouts break the regular-season mark of seven set last year.
- Fresno State's 42 points was the most USC has given up in its current win streak (34 vs. Notre Dame earlier this year was the previous high) and the most since allowing 48 in a 48-41 loss at UCLA in 1996.
- Fresno State's 21-13 halftime lead marked the fourth time USC trailed at the half this year and the eighth time USC has trailed at the half in the current win streak. USC last trailed at the half at home against Cal in 2002, 21-17. USC won that game 30-28. Fresno State's 7-0 first-quarter lead marked USC's first deficit at home in 2005.
- WR Steve Smith's third-quarter TD catch was the fifth of the season, 13th of his career.
- USC K Mario Danelo broke Ryan Killeen's USC and Pac-10 season records for PAT attempts and PATs. He now is 69-of- 72, breaking Killeen's marks of 65 PATs and 67 PAT attempts.
- USC has now scored at least 20 points in its last 50 games, continuing a school record, and in 52 of its past 53 games. USC has also scored at least 30 points in 39 of its last 45 games. USC has scored at least 40 points 30 times under Pete Carroll, including the last seven home games
- S Brandon Ting's third-quarter interception was the first of his career.
- S Darnell Bing's two interceptions give him a team-leading four.
- USC's 24-0 scoring streak was the 11th time USC scored at least 20 unanswered points this year.
- USC's 28-point third quarter marked the fourth time it had at least that many in a quarter in 2005.
- USC's four interceptions marked the most against Fresno State QB Paul Pinegar this year.
- FSU's Wendell Mathis is the fourth runner in the last 44 games to break the 100-yard rushing mark vs. USC.
- USC broke the 300-yard rushing mark for the fourth time this season.
- USC DE Lawrence Jackson's fourth-quarter sack of Pinegar was only the 13th sack Fresno State allowed this year.
- USC's 50 points marks the sixth time Troy has scored 50 or more this year, continuing a school season record.
- The combined total of 92 points in tonight's game (50-42) was the most in a USC game since the Trojans defeated Hawaii 61-32 at the Coliseum on Sept. 13, 2003 for a total of 93 points.
