USC fans can listen on the internet to real-time radio broadcasts of six Trojan sports by subscribing to USC's "School Pass" package on Yahoo! Sports. Subscriptions are $4.95 per month and can be ordered online at either www.usctrojans.com or http://sports.yahoo.com. The package includes all radio broadcasts of Trojan football, men's and women's basketball, women's and men's volleyball and baseball contests. "We were fortunate to be able to provide these broadcasts for free the past few years as a service to our fans," said USC senior associate athletic director Daryl Gross. "In fact, last year we were one of the few teams in the nation-college or pro-to still air our internet broadcasts at no cost. But we knew the day was coming when we would have to start charging. "It was just too cost prohibitive for us to continue providing this service for free. So, instead of dropping our internet broadcasts entirely, we thought it would be best to give fans the option of subscribing to a monthly package. "We think the cost is minimal for such an all-encompassing package of Trojan broadcasts. And the rest of our comprehensive usctrojans.com website remains available to all at no cost." There is also a "College Pass" package, priced at $9.95 per month, that provides access to internet broadcasts for every Yahoo! Sports' College Broadcast Service, which consists of nearly 100 colleges and universities from across the country. Among the schools are Arizona State, Texas, Oklahoma, Clemson, Missouri, Alabama, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Colorado, Indiana, Florida State, Kansas and Duke, in addition to USC. These audio packages, available for both broadband and dial-up users, allow fans to listen to the radio broadcast of USC's official radio stations.
