
Women Of Troy Pick Up Four Points In Hammer Competition

Los Angeles - Senior L'Orangerie Crawford took second and freshman Julia Rozenfeld placed third as the USC women's track and field team picked up four points in the USC-UCLA dual meet hammer competition held at Drake Stadium on Friday.
Crawford was beat out by Bruin Carrie Soong, 203-1 to 200-4, but Rozenfeld beat out UCLA's Jessica Cosby, 194-4 to 189-3.
Scoring for a dual meet awards 5 points for first, 3 for second and 1 for third. Any placing below third does not result in points.
Heading into the bulk of tomorrow's dual, UCLA leads USC, 5-4.
On the men's side, Bruin Danny Ames threw 212-2 on his final throw to top Trojan Michael Murray (207-6). Jack Knight of UCLA was third (189-8), while Trojan Noah Bryant was fourth (188-7).
UCLA heads into tomorrow's dual with a 6-3 lead on the men's side.
The dual meet continues on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Drake Stadium.
