Mike Patterson, Reggie Bush Named Sporting News All-Americans

Defensive tackle Mike Patterson and tailback Reggie Bush were named to The Sporting News' 2004 All-American first team.
Pattterson becomes USC's 133rd first team All-American in its history. Last week, Bush, quarterback Matt Leinart and linebacker Matt Grootegoed made the Football Coaches All-American first team.
On the TSN squad, Leinart and defensive tackle Shaun Cody made second team.
Also, wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett and offensive tackle Sam Baker made TSN's Freshman All-American first team, while defensive end Lawrence Jackson and offensive guard Jeff Byers were on the second team.
