USC Defensive Notes
Cal was averaging 48.7 points per game coming in, but was held to 17. The Bears were averaging 539 yards per game, but managed just 424 against USC.

Matt Leinart Notes
In 18 career starts, Matt Leinart has 48 touchdown passes. He has thrown at least 1 touchdown pass in each of those 18 starts and at least 2 TD passes in 17 of those games.
During USC's 14-game win streak, Leinart has thrown 40 touchdowns and just 6 interceptions. His career TD-to-int ratio is 48-12.
Leinart is now 17-1 as the USC starting quarterback.
Reggie Bush Notes

LenDale White Notes
Sophomore tailback LenDale White scored his second-career receiving touchdown in the first quarter. He now has 20 touchdowns in 18 career games (18 rushing and 2 receiving).
White had 40 yards after initial contact by a defender. On the season, he has 278 yards after contact.
Either Bush or LenDale White has scored at least one touchdown in each of USC's last 16 games.
Aaron Rodgers Notes
Cal QB Aaron Rodgers broke Tee Martin of Tennessee's NCAA record for most consecutive completions over a season with 26-straight pass completions (3 to end the Oregon St. game and 23 to start the USC game). He tied Martin's NCAA single-game consecutive completions mark with 23.
