Legendary Ex-USC Assistant Marv Goux Gravely Ill

Legendary former USC assistant football coach Marv Goux, known as Mr. Trojan to many USC fans and players because of his inspiration, toughness and competitiveness, is gravely ill with cancer.
Trojan fans are asked to keep the 69-year-old Goux in their thoughts and prayers.
Goux, who coached at USC from 1957 to 1982 after starting three years for the Trojan team, was part of five national championships and 13 Rose Bowls. He coached 10 All-American first teamers.
