Trojan Dance Force Places Fourth At NDA Championships

LOS ANGELES - USC's Trojan Dance Force earned a fourth-place finish at the 2002 National Dance Alliance Collegiate Championships held Thursday and Friday (April 4-5) at the Bandshell on Daytona Beach, Fla. The routines of the top five teams will be aired on CBS on Saturday, April 27, at 11 a.m. PST.
Twenty-seven teams qualified to compete in the preliminary competition. USC placed eighth in qualifications and received complimentary hotel accommodations. Of the twenty-seven competing teams, thirteen teams qualified for the finals. USC placed fifth in the prelims and finished fourth at the finals. Louisville took home first place, followed by Memphis State, Rutgers, USC and Kentucky.
Tryouts for the 2003 USC Dance Force are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 24, through Friday, April 26. Please contact tdf@usc.edu with any questions. The tryout schedule is as follows:
