USC Track Prepares for Several Event Finals at NCAAs

BOISE, Idaho -USC's Anna Lopaciuch and Grazyna Penc each finished second in their respective heats in the women's 1500 meters Thursday at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships to advance to Saturday's finals.
The Women are currently tied for seventh place as a team with nine points. They trail SMU by 11 after five events.
Jerome Davis, the defending NCAA champion in the 400 meters won his heat with a time of 45.71 to also advance to Saturday's final.
On Friday, USC's men's 4x100 meter relay will aim to become the school's 10th NCAA crown in that event and first since 1980. The Women of Troy will also seek a title in the 400 meter hurdles with Natasha Danvers who currently owns the nation's top time in that event with a 55.75. The women will also compete in the 4x100 meter relay finals.
