USC Tied for Sixth in Sears Directors' Cup

LOS ANGELES - USC is in a tie for sixth place in the latest Sears Directors' Cup rankings. With 150 points, USC is tied with BYU.
The top five consists of Stanford (310 points), Florida (210), Penn State (190), Arkansas (180) and Wisconsin (160).
USC earned points in the fall thanks to the men's water polo team's national championship, the women's soccer team's first NCAA Tournament bid and the women's volleyball team's Sweet 16 appearance.
USC is also poised to do well in this spring, due to such highly ranked teams as baseball, swimming, track, golf and tennis.
