Six Trojans Sign as Free Agents

LOS ANGELES - In addition to the five USC players that were selected in the 1999 NFL Draft last weekend, six others have signed free-agent contracts as of Tuesday (April 20).

The Trojans that signed as free agents are Rome Douglas (Jacksonville), Mike Bastianelli and Marc Matock (San Francisco), Ken Haslip (Kansas City), Marvin Powell III (New Orleans) and Grant Pearsall (Dallas).

The USC players that were drafted were Chris Claiborne (Detroit), Daylon McCutcheon (Cleveland), Larry Parker (Kansas City), Rashard Cook (Chicago) and Billy Miller (Denver).
