Swimmers Set For U.S. Open

Los Angeles - The USC men's and women's swim teams are sending a combined 18 swimmers to compete in the 1999 U.S. Open in San Antonio, Texas, on Dec. 2-4.
One of the biggest meets on the national schedule, the 1999 U.S. Open features many of the world's top swimmers, including former Trojan and current world record holder Lenny Krayzelburg.
USC is sending seven women (Asa Sandlund, Michala Kwasny, Jamie Cail, Jennifer Parmenter, Corrie Murphy, Kristin MacGregor and Hillary Biscay) and 11 men (Erik Vendt, Jeff Lee, Mike Gausman, Nick Kaschik, Mark Warkentin, Joel Everman, Gabe Woodward, Slawek Richter, Ryosuke Imai, Bret Awbrey and Ahmad Al-Kudmani).
Meanwhile, back in Long Beach, a handful of Trojan swimmers will compete in the Speedo Cup during the same time span at Belmont Plaza.
