“The Walrus,” as Craig Stadler is affectionately known, was a 2-time All-American golfer (1973-74) at USC. He won the U.S. Amateur title in 1973. Professionally, he won 30 events, with 13 on the PGA Tour (including the 1982 Masters) and 9 on the PGA Tour Champions circuit, with nearly $20 million in career earnings He was a member of several U.S. Ryder Cup teams. In 2016, he was named to the Pac-12 All-Century team. He and his son, Kevin (a 2018 member of the USC Athletic Hall of Fame), are the first father and son to have won on both the PGA and European Tours, as well as the first father-son duo to play in the same Masters (2014).
