In conjunction with the College Football Playoff's Extra Yard for Teachers Initiative, USC's Trojan Outreach program presented a Los Angeles elementary school teacher with a $10,000 check today.
USC OT Zach Banner tagged along to Lou Dantzler Elementary School to surprise art teacher A.K. Usafi with the check. After Banner engaged in a Q&A regarding the importance of education and creativity through the arts, he left the stage and re-emerged to surprise Ms. Usafi.
Trojan Outreach also invited Usafi and the students at Dantzler to attend USC's Thursday night game vs. Cal on Oct. 27.
