Sophomore
Kaito Onishi matched his season-best round with a 4-under 66 to lead the No. 6 USC men's golf team in the second round of The Goodwin at the Stanford G.C. on Friday (March 29).

The Trojans are a combined 5-over 565 (286-279) after 36 holes, in second, seven back of host Stanford's 2-under 558 (279-279). California is a stroke back of USC while Oklahoma is at 8-over.

Onishi is in the hunt for his first collegiate win, leading the field at 5-under 135 (69-66) after carding his fourth round under 70 in his last five outings and 10
th on the season. Starting on 10, he went out at 1-under before three straight birdies on 1, 2 and 3 and another on 7 before finishing with a bogey on 9.

Senior
Sam Kim turned in his fourth round in the 60s this season with a 1-under 69 and is now tied for 15
th at 1-over 141 (72-69). He had three birdies and an eagle on the par 5 first hole.

Issei Tanabe is tied for 40
th at 5-over 145 (70-75) while senior
Justin Suh is tied for 47
th at 6-over 146 (75-71). Junior
Kyle Suppa is tied for 84th at 10-over 150 (77-73).
