MESSAGE FROM COACH
Hello Trojan Family!
I want to first thank you for your support over what was a remarkable and memorable season. With our first NCAA Tourney bid since 2014 (first at-large since 2006!), a Top 25 ranking, a home win over #2 ranked Stanford, 3 All-Conference selections and 2 WNBA draft picks… the momentum surrounding our team is palpable.
We also have some incredible new additions. On a personal note, my husband Patrick and I welcomed our daughter Reese in October, just in time for the season! While she isn’t quite ready to help us on the court, the love and support from our team and extended Trojan family makes her one lucky girl and her parents incredibly appreciative and humbled. Our newcomers that you will love watching in Galen are true freshmen Juju Watkins and Malia Samuels and grad transfers Kayla Padilla, McKenzie Forbes and Kaitlyn Davis.
We are already getting after it in summer workouts, and will be releasing an exciting ’23-’24 schedule soon. There are so many ways to support our team as we aim to be a championship program. With the changing landscape upon us, please see the attachment for NCAA sanctioned NIL opportunities if that is something you are interested in. Get your season tickets and tell your friends to do the same. The Women of Troy are raising the level of excitement and excellence, and we want you to continue to be a part of it.
