USC's Chanel Brissett was named the Pac-12 Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the week of April 1-7, it was announced by the Conference today (April 9).
The sophomore Brissett won the 100m hurdles at the Jim Click Shootout with an NCAA and world-leading time of 12.87 (+0.1). The reigning Pac-12 hurdles champion also ran a wind-legal personal-best of 11.65 (+0.7) in the 100m dash to place fifth in that event at the Jim Click Shootout.
