Allisen Corpuz carded her second consecutive even round, this time on the hallowed grounds of Augusta National, to tie for 17
th at 3-over 219 in the inaugural Augusta National Women's Amateur on Saturday (April 6).

Corpuz (75-72-72), who earned her final spot after a playoff on Thursday, was in the first group to tee off on Saturday. She was 2-under on her front 9 at Augusta with birdies on 2, 3 and 7 with a bogey on 4. She bogeyed 10 and 14 to drop back to even, birdied 15 ahead of a bogey on 16 and finished with pars on 17 and 18.

Corpuz was among only 13 golfers on Saturday who played Augusta at par or better. Only eight golfers were under par.

"It was such a great day," Corpuz said. "I played pretty well but also was in awe of how many people came out to support the event. Teeing off in the first group was definitely nerve wracking, but I hit some good shots and overall had a great experience."

Alyaa Abdulghany tied for 40
th at 6-over 150 (75-75) while sophomore
Jennifer Chang tied for 57
th at 10-over 154 (78-76), both missing the cut after Thursday's second round. The entire 72-woman field played a practice round at Augusta on Friday.

Justin Silverstein said. "Allisen put together a strong three rounds and really held tough during some pressure moments. She, Alyaa and Jen all represented the university tremendously this week."
