For the third time this season, undefeated USC has swept the MPSF weekly awards. After a gutsy 12-8 road win last week in Honolulu, USC freshman Alejandra Aznar has claimed her second MPSF Newcomer of the Week award, and junior Maud Megens has picked up her third MPSF Player of the Week selection of the season.

Aznar scored twice and earned a 5-meter penalty shot for the Trojans in USC's 12-8 road win over No. 5 Hawai'i. Her first goal took USC ahead 5-2 early in the second, and she'd add her second to make it 12-5 in the fourth. In the second, Aznar earned a 5-meter penalty shot that helped USC along to its fourth straight goal of a 7-0 run that put USC in control.

Junior Maud Megens scored five goals, had two steals and an assist in the win at Hawai'i. With USC up 3-2 entering the second period, Megens delivered her five goals during USC's 7-0 surge, getting the Trojans ahead 10-2 in the third period. The five-goal outburst lifted the junior to rank No. 12 all-time in career scoring at USC, now with 146 career goals. The road win improved USC to 20-0 overall.

No. 1 USC has the week off from competition and returns to action on March 30 with a home tilt against No. 2 Stanford at 2 p.m. at Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
