USC junior guard Minyon Moore has picked up repeat academic honors, earning Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention for the second season. A communication major, Moore led the Trojans on the court and in the classroom in her junior campaign.
While toting a 3.17 GPA, Moore worked her way to a spot on the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team while averaging 14.8 points and team-high 5.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 2.6 steals per game. In USC's push to a final 17-13 overall record, Moore scored her 1,000th career point and climbed the career charts to rank No. 5 all-time in career assists (450), No. 6 in free throws made (404) and No. 9 in career steals (221). She hit double digits in 23 games in her junior season, registering five double-doubles to up her career count to nine. Her 166 assists dished out this season is sixth most by a Trojan and edges out the 165 she had last season.
