2020: Souza followed up her career best 2019 junior season with a stellar 2020 senior campaign, highlighted by CSCAA All-American honors on 1-meter and platform … She clinched her third NCAA trip after finishing as a three-time finalist at the 2020 Zone E Diving Championships with a second on platform (578.90), 10th on 1-meter ( 546.25) and 13th on 3-meter (569.15) … At the 2020 Pac-12 Championships, Souza finished fifth in finals on 3-meter (318.05) and was sixth on women’s platform (271.85) … earlier in the season, Souza finished third (290.25) on 1-meter against Stanford and second on 1-meter (275.63) and 3-meter (282.90) against Cal
2019: Souza became an NCAA Championships scorer as a 2019 junior, finishing 16th on platform (215.90) after finishing ninth in prelims (265.90, just 8.20 out of a top 8 finish) … She clinched her berth in the NCAAs thanks to a seventh on platform (501.30) at the NCAA Zone E Championships, where she was also a finalist on 1-meter … Souza reached her second Pac-12 final on platform, finishing eighth (203.00). She was 11th on 1-meter (249.95) and 12th on 3-meter (251.85) … She posted two dual meet wins during the season, won the 1-meter (551.20) and 3-meter (565.55) at the Trojan Diving Invitational and took the 3-meter title at the Utah Diving Invitational.
2018: Souza competed at the NCAA Championships as a 2018 sophomore, finishing 45th on platform (184.80). She earned her spot thanks to a strong showing at the NCAA Zone E meet where she was eighth on platform (488.85). She was 25th on 3-meter (263.50) and 36th on 1-meter (233.70) … Her regular season was highlighted by dual meet wins on 1-meter against Arizona and Bakersfield and a pair of second-place finishes at the Trojan Invitational on 1-meter and platform.
2017: Souza competed in all three events at the 2017 NCAA Zone E and Pac-12 Championships. She was a Pac-12 finalist on platform (eighth, 212.15) and was 16th on both 1-meter (233.70) and 3-meter (236.05). She also reached the final on both 3-meter and platform at the NCAA Zone E meet ... Souza won one dual meet event, on platform, coming in USC's win over UCLA ... She competed at the 2016 U.S. Winter Nationals, reaching the semifinals on 3-meter with 404.30 (13th).
HIGH SCHOOL: Souza prepped at West Ranch High in Valencia, Calif., where she was fourth on 1-meter at the 2015 CIF State Championships with 469.80 and was second at the CIF Southern Section Division 1 and 4 Championships ... She competed at the 2015 U.S. Winter Nationals, finishing 21st ... At the 2014 U.S. Diving Age Group Nationals, she was 11th in the 16-18 1-meter competition.
