USC defensive back Iman Marshall announced on his Instagram today (Jan. 12) that he will return to USC for his senior season in 2018.
"I came to USC three years ago with big expectations for myself and for this university," Marshall wrote. "Want to help bring this University back to the top and feel we got a lot more left to accomplish, time to go and get it! It's an honor to be a Trojan."
Marshall, a three-year starter from Long Beach, Calif., has posted 169 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 27 pass deflections and 6 interceptions during his USC career.
He burst onto the scene as a freshman in 2015, earning Freshman All-American honors after leading the team in interceptions and pass deflections. In 2016, he earned Sophomore All-American honorable mention and All-Pac-12 honorable mention. In 2018, he led USC's DBs with a career-high 10 pass deflections.
Marshall joins LBs Porter Gustin and Cameron Smith as USC's draft-eligible juniors to return for 2018 on the defensive side of the ball.
